Sometimes you just want to get away. It’s been awhile since I’ve gone away on vacation and it seems like every time I do it ends up being NYC. As many times as I’ve been to NYC, it NEVER gets old — plus I got a lot of family there. So for me it’s such a safe choice when picking destinations to visit. That’s why when me and some friends were torn between visiting Chicago, New York, Boston, or San Francisco next month, I didn’t want to make the safe choice.  So…. next month I’ll be making my first trip out to the west coast!

San Francisco it is… And according to this site, it beats Miami in every statistical category. We’ll see about that.

My friends went to San Fran a couple of years ago and they’ve been urging me to join them on a return visit. To be honest, I’m just happy to get out of Florida. But what really gets me excited is the chance to see a side of the U.S. I’ve never seen before: Bay Area, Napa Valley, Golden Gate Bridge, Haight-Ashbury, In-N-Out Burger. And I already know they have a dope music scene. Man… it’s going to be great. And to top it off, I’m going to finally get to go diggin’ at the world famous Amoeba Record Store. Never heard of it? It’s only the largest independent record store in the ENTIRE world. Here, take a stroll with me:
